Save the date for May 20, when the Brass Band of Central Illinois and Dr. Sharon Huff, Music Director, bring the silver screen to life at the ISU Center for the Performing Arts. You can’t have a Hollywood tribute without the music of John Williams, including selections from The Cowboys and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. We go beyond the Bare Necessities with music from Star Trek and Beauty and the Beast. For those who prefer the small screen and a night with Netflix, we bring you the themes from St. Elsewhere and The Crown. And tuba soloist Jasmine Pigott, one of the Peabody Conservatory’s top talents, dazzles us with her virtuosity in Czardas, a tour-de-force for the tuba. Don’t miss this Mission: Impossible.
