The Brass Band of Central Illinois presents The Joy of Christmas

Join us for The Joy of Christmas, a concert performed by Dr. Sharon Huff and the Brass Band of Central Illinois that is filled with joyful melodies. Classic carols meet brass brilliance in Fanfare Jubiloso, Nowell!, and Fantasy of Joy, which prominently features Beethoven’s Ode to Joy. The soulful Blessings in Christmas, based on a traditional Korean carol, helps us reflect on the true meaning of the season. BBCI tuba player Ryne Dresbach offers a rendition of Frosty the Snowman that’s sweeter than Santa’s cookies, and our principal euphoniumist, Sean Breast, will dazzle more than a holiday light display in Ding Dong Merrily on High. We’ll have you dancing in the aisles with God Rest Ye Merry, Cha-Cha Men before Kelly Rackauskas, our featured vocalist, leads everyone in a glorious sing-along. It’s time to Deck the Hall!
